I just mentioned something about side scrolling in Zelda games the other day. About how people always say it's a call back to either Zelda II or Link's Awakening, but there were side scrolling elements in the original game. They were very basic, but when you went downstairs in a dungeon it was a small side scrolling section.

Nobody seems to ever mention it, and here is an entire article not mentioning it 😅

I was going to say the same thing about Ganon. There is no Ganon before Demise, so this is way off. It's most likely sometime after A Link Between Worlds since EoW references that there used to be a hidden staircase in the graveyard, which would have last been used in ALBW. Also, Link's sword from Link's Awakening can be seen in EoW, so this could very well be the same Link from LA and the same Zelda as well.
