I created an just to comment here. A musical episode in almost anything not related to comedy or romantic irony is the worst idea ever made. It's cringy, tacky and to the viewers makes it seem like the writers are running out of material. Tom Welling absolutely saved this show by refusing to stoop to all time lows just to repeat what the other shows did. There's no "taking it to new heights" if you're mimicking other shows that did it. In my honest opinion the fact that this article was written makes me squirm. I love living in a world where a singing superman episode did not take place.
