I expect the rest of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives season 2 to dive deeper into the drama surrounding Demi Engemann and the rest of the MomTok group, including her best friend Jessi Ngatikaura. The show has already tackled taboo topics with nuance, so I anticipate even more explosive revelations and emotional confrontations ahead between the pair. 

I think the most underrated MTV reality show is Teen Mom, especially the current iteration of the series. While the Teen Mom ladies are no longer teens, they've transitioned from teen motherhood into adulthood on screen, and watching them throughout their lives has been fascinating. Going through so much with the same cast has been great to watch, and they're rarely given credit for how much they've done on the network.

I really think The Voice needs a revamp. At this point, the format has grown stale, with few winners finding long-term success. A refreshed approach that could possibly limit the blind auditions and emphasize original music could reinvigorate the franchise. The talent is there, but the show has to evolve beyond its flashy production and focus on developing genuine careers to remain relevant in today’s saturated music competition landscape.

American Idol's Carrie Underwood got slammed by viewers for seemingly snubbing this season's winner, Jamal Roberts, during the finale and her social media post about him felt like too little too late. While I don't think Carrie's been entirely negative this season, I don't think her behavior toward the winner was appropriate. Many have been struggling to feel like Carrie should return, and at this point I hope she'll be a one-season judge.

Sirens had the narrative depth and visual flair to justify a full-season event, and it could come back for another mini-series to prove it. The show's rich mythology and intense interpersonal dynamics felt rushed in moments with the limited runtime. A longer season could’ve allowed for better character arcs and world-building. Expanding Sirens could give the series room to breathe and potentially become a genuine fan favorite.

Fire Country season 4 will be a turning point, especially with two major characters leaving. With character shifts and high-stakes drama, there’s potential for fresh storylines and emotional depth. However, Fire Country will need tighter writing moving forward and meaningful character development to avoid falling into soap opera territory or repetition. Personally, I think they may have lost me after losing Vince Leone, but I'm willing to give it a chance.
