I couldn't agree more about your opinion on Metallica but when it comes to Slayer they are number 1 when it comes to any metal sub genre. Slayer is king of all metal and the best of all the big 4 and if you don't believe that you are a poser!

After that Megadeth is the second best without Dave Mustane Metallica would never have been as successful as they were and Dave creating his own band after Metallica that has far sured anything new Metallica has done is evident.

Anthrax is in 3rd play while underated its easy to see why due their goofy thrash style not being taken seriously which embodies the fun living aspect of being a musician and a metal head

Then there's metallica how they have falled without Kirk or Dave to help them come out with anything good other than their early stuff and then becoming mainstream at the sacrifice of their authenticity and integrity. Their new music is nothing that can be viewed as being able to make a serious comeback in the eyes of true metalheads
