Wasn't cocaine, most likely supposed to be china white or fentanyl in the context of the show. The withdrawals described sound like opiate, Cocaine is mentally addictive and doesn't have the same type of withdrawal sickness as opiates.

Loved Enterprise, and like many, I loathed the theme song, I hate it. That said, The Death of Tripp really hit me as hard or harder than any other in Trek canon, I want to see him in the Section 31 spin off (he was brought back in one of the books, his death was fake as he became an operative of section 31. And he and T'Pol get a better ending. This show didn't get the love it deserved, I'm glad to see the NX01 crew getting the love and recognition they deserve.
