Only due to the fact Tolkiens writings about middle earth are obviously longer lasting not failing to entice generation after generations of children and adults alike to it fantastic tales. Of course those who succumb to Tolkien and his mastery of the magic of fantasy will be curious to see the rings of power. Ultimately I foresee many people in the future also being let down by this series. Only those who will watch the series first will claim to like it amd even then if they read the series they will know they are living a lie if they claim the series is befitting of being at the same level of Tolkien writings.
