Futurama did try to ease the pain a little with Bender's Big Score.
I would also like to add Suddenly Susan S3 Ep23 "A Day in the Life". Susan goes looking for Todd and ends up learning a lot about him while there are cut-aways of everyone teary-eyed reminiscing about him. It ends with the gang gathered around as a phone rings, then it shows a montage of memorable scenes from throughout the show of Todd. David Strickland, who played Todd, took his life a couple months before. Those were real tears and reactions in the cut aways and the episode was dedicated to him. I know there isn't a lot of love out there for Suddenly Susan (and least not that I've seen), but it really is a heartbreaking episode.

10 Kids' TV Shows From The 1990s That No One Re
I got a forgotten kids cartoon from the 90s. It never shows up on any forgotten show list and nobody answers with it (they'll answer with well know cartoons like Scooby Doo or Smurfs). It's called Spacecats. Featuring feline, alien crime solvers Tom, Scratch, and Sniff (and a couple times Yvette Meow); led by Captain Catgut ["they're commander and softball coach" ] (voiced by the guy who played Alf) who gets his orders from the Great D.O.R.C.(Disembodied Omnipotent Ruler of Cats). Besides Alf-guy, other actors included Rob Paulson, Kath Soucie, and Charles Nelson Reilly. If it wasn't for the fact my mom taped it for me I'd probably think it was a fever dream or something.
