Blue Oyster Cult's Buck Dharma was a frequent lead vocalist for Blue Oyster Cult's work. Actually, all 5 of Blue Oyster Cult's classic lineup have performed lead vocals on their work, with Buck Dharma being second-most-frequent after BOC's "official" lead singer Eric Bloom. Buck Dharma also sang lead on BOC's second-biggest hit "Burnin' for You." Drummer Albert Bouchard sang lead on the early classic-rock radio track "Cities on Flame (With Rock n Roll)" and fan-favorite "Dominance and Submission"; Albert's brother and bassist Joe Bouchard sang lead on several BOC tracks including live set-list standard "Hot Rails to Hell," and keyboardist Allen Lanier only sang lead officially once to my knowledge (on "Agents of Fortune" track "True Confessions").

I was delighted to see Motorhead's "Step Down" on this list! It's literally the second song that came to mind when I read the title of this article (the first was the Stones' "Happy" sung by Keith Richards). Incidentally, "Fast" Eddie Clarke contributed lead vocals to Motorhead's covers of "(I'm Your) Witchdoctor" and Girlschool's "Emergency" as well.
