The Lazarus pit was shown in on set spoiler photos, or at least a hole in the ground with a green glowing substance, which may have just been a green screen now that I'm looking back. What ever it was, suffice to say, they clearly didnt go that direction or our eyes just deceived us.

Regardless, hopes were high. I dont think that version of the pit would've fit TDKRs universe, but at least that fiction would've better explained his healing factor rather than the mind over body (prison chiroprathy) accelerated healing concept that made no sense and no one understood. Still doesn't.

TDKR had potential, but it was never going to top TDK.
