See AllThe Rookie Season 7, Episode 16 Review: I'm Disappointed With Seth's Return, But I'm Even More Annoyed With Tim & Lucy's Lack Of Development
I am going to have to disagree and I am going to give my opions.
Chenford: I am neutral on the writng this seaoson. I feel we get nice emtional depth scenes, but then its always cut short. I hated 7x12 for so much I pretend it was not canon. If it was not for 7x12 I think their journey is decent. My hope is that Lucy and Tim talk after she es her exam (I kind of think they'll). I also feel like the contunity issues in s7 makes it harder to understand s7 chenford. The things I would've like to seen from s7 chenford is: tim in theraphy more, more "small doses from tim", lucys pov of all these events and conversation. If chenford has a real serious conversation in s7 I'll be happy.
Seth - I completetly disagree on seth and I kind of shocked that you'd think this. Seth imo never seemed like a big bad villian. He seemed like a regular pathological liar. He even tells Nolan he cannot help but lie. Also just because he did one good thing does not mean he's redeemed. Most people I know still dislike seth, but felt bad for him when he got hurt because a leg ampuatation is a serious deal. Tim even tells Miles at the end of the of the episode. "He's a bad person who did a heroic thing which makes it complicated". The whole point of seth was to show that bad people can do good things and that's what makes them complex. I also don't get why you have an issue with everyone staring down Seth in the lobby area. It was meant to show no one liked and two everyone had respect for lucy as police officer.
Influencers - I found them to be be really annoying but somewhat relastic in the sense a lot of inluencers do act like that irl.
Overall, I thought this episode was really great and one of the best of this season. It had a good mix of action, drama, humor, romance and domestic moments. The pacing and screentime for each charater was good too.

I mean tim hosting the dinner was something nice he was doing nice for lucy. I think we've seen tim grow a lot of this season its subtle but its there. I do wish we saw more of tim working on himself. My biggest wish is that I want a real serious conversation btwn chenford where tim acknowledges his faults and confesses he's being doing work. I'd also like to know where lucy's head it at.
