The Twisted Childhood Universe Made A Horror Peter Pan, But A Popular 2010s TV Show Already Did That
Calling Neverland Nightmare redundant isn't a fair criticism. One, it's common for stories to have multiple interpretations. Greek myths are often retold, there are numerous Batman comics, even Once Upon A Time itself is just another version of past stories. The show is far from perfect, but talented writers still managed to make that piece of the story genuinely thrilling and spooky, all without a drop of blood.
