The ending of Dark Tower was a little disappointing for my taste. On thing I've noticed about SK is that if someone gets out alive they have lost much in the journey . In Roland's case he is older an no wiser. Obsessed with the Tower ,he is ready to start the journey again with what little he has left. His comrades are gone. He is missing body parts. One of his guns is lost, if I recall correctly.
