This is not going to work. Snape is a mean character with a hooked nose and is never described as being good looking. Paapa Essiedu just doesn't have the "Snape Aura". Meanwhile if they want to add diversity Warner Brothers should race-swap they should do some major, minor characters like Mcgonagall or Quirrell. But characters like Dumbledore and Snape have to be impeccable if they want to make this reboot work.

P.S. If they want to race swap the main trio Hermione could have a lartina skin colour and I would be 100% on board.
