Feels misleading using lead here when Monoma is more a side character at best and even then depends on the arc. Honestly was expecting a character who appeared more often like Tenya, Ochako or even Izuku. Nothing wrong with any of the characters, but they are the ones I tend to think of more when someone brings up a series less from this show over a guy who has major roles in 3 story arcs more or less.

It's like what they did with Ultimate Marvel years and years ago. It's an alternative and "darker" take on characters and stories with twists. Only taken to a greater extreme while at the same time the main and original universe is still on going. With their own stories

Dude I stopped taking you even slightly seriously when Digimon Frontier was 10 on this list. Like I get what your saying that the series took things in a different direction. But it has a fun story and is a good stand alone anime. Besides the person going in might be more a fan of having the kids turn into Digimon, Super Sentai style.

Also Flat characters? They were honestly a lot of really fun characters and I greatly enjoyed seeing the kids grow and develop. Such as Tommy who went from a crybaby brat to a strong and determined member of the team who could and did stand on his own two feet. JP who struggled to make friends and kept people at a distance learned to embrace who he was at heart. And the storyline of the twins was fantastic seeing it play out and develop.

Honestly doesn't feel like a really good thing to restart the Corps on Earth. Oa worked nicely because it was under Green Lantern and Guardian direct care without civilians. Earth is frankly a mess at the best of times especially with recent events with Waller. Throwing the Central Battery on that planet feels like a mistake just waiting for something to crack it open and blow up.
