See AllGhost Of Yotei May Have Already Lost To Assassin's Creed Shadows
When i played AC Shadows, it reminded me of AC Origins, where they attempted to mimic all the successful open world features that made Witcher 3 a giant success, except they didnt steal the top tier story telling and left a garbage story in AC Origins. Now with AC Shadows, Ubi attempted to mimic all the features of GoT that made it a giant success. Now you're saying that the 2nd game in the GoT series is going to fail because AC Shadows did it first? We just ignoring the fact GoT was around a half a decade before AC Shadows? I haven't seen one AC game since the original 3 that have told a decent story. The best story in all the AC games since they went open world was probably the short little 20 hour AC game that took place in the desert, whatever that game was called. But AC Shadows, like every AC game before it, shows it's weakest point in its story telling. It is far from compelling. The best thing AC Shadows has going for it, like every AC game since Origins, is it's beautiful landscape. But even their strongest feature doesn't beat Ghost of Tsushima in the same area. Ghosts of Tsushimas Japanese landscape has AC Shadows beat by far. The mountainous landscape of AC Shadows, while pretty, is a nightmare to navigate.
