I understand a TV show can’t cover all the story details in the books, but I don’t like the changes made in the show. Having read all the books several times, the TV show is a disappointment to me. Too many changes to story lines and character arcs make it almost unrecognizable. It’s been changed so drastically it’s not the same story. It’s a hacked up mess. Why couldn’t they just follow the books while dropping out unnecessary storylines. Instead they decided to make ‘creative’ changes. The casting and acting are good but the story is broken.
