John Wayne Loved His Iconic 1956 Western So Much, He Named His Own Son After It
The Searchers Ethan Edward's is one of three roles that Wayne could have won an Oscar for. The other two being Nathan Brittles in She Wore a Yellow Ribbon and John Stryker in Sands of Iwo Jima. In fact Brittles was Wayne's favorite role.
John Wayne & John Ford's 1945 Naval War Movie Might Be The Best WWII Film You Haven't Seen
They were SAILORS, not soldiers. If you don't think there is a difference, I suggest you call a sailor a soldier or vice versa. They will be glad to explain the difference to you.
Sam Wilson Deserves Better: I Can't Believe How The Thunderbolts* Movie's New Avengers Reveal Treats Captain America's Real Avengers
If Sam gets Thor and Hulk along with Ant Man, Wasp and Dr. Strange, it will put the newbies in their place. Not sure about Spiderman because no one knows him.
I Agree With William Shatner & Leonard Nimoy That This Star Trek: The Original Series Episode Is The Best
Why is the fact that there are no women in the episode a blight? If there were a larger cast i might agree, but this episode was a very limited group. There are only 5 main characters, the TOS trinity, Ken Lynch as the head miner and Janos Prohaska as the Horta. Why must there be a token of every group as if they were getting a participation trophy?
10 Best Avengers Movie Fight Scenes In The MCU, Ranked
Thor's entrance to the battle in Wakanda should be the way he is treated from now on. That stupid fat suit and being a drunk was so stupid and is hated by every real Thor fan.
John Wayne's Most Underrated Western, Loosely Based On A True Story, Is Still Worth Watching 60 Years Later
The most fun in the film is the 4 brothers fist fight.
John Wayne's Funniest Movie Is This Underrated 1960 Western With Stewart Granger
What about McLintock with Maureen O'Hara? There was broad humor and numerous laughs in that film. Although I will it that perhaps North to Alaska did pave the way for his comedy chops. You could add Hatari and Donovan's Reef , and say that he made more humorous films later in his career.
The Best Sci-Fi Show Episode In History Aired 17 Years Ago Today
How about comparing it to Star Trek: The Next Generation finale, with Picard bouncing back and forth in time? Not only good as an episode, but great as a finale.
Star Trek 6: The Undiscovered Country Ending & What Happened To Kirk's Original Crew Explained
In the Star Trek books, both Yhura and Chekov will both become irals, yet drill manage to get involved with old friends and their adventures.
James Stewart Starred In This Great 1961 John Ford Western That Basically Remade One Of John Wayne's Best Films
As it seems with every SR article that whoever writes these articles either has not really seen the film or wasn't paying attention. In The Searchers, John Wayne ISN'T a gunfight, ge is a returning Civil War vet, who may have questionably obtained money. Also Henry Brandon was the leader Scar in The Searchers while Woody Strode plays Quanah Parker the Commanche chief. While mistake could have been an assumption while the other is being plain lazy in checking facts.
What Happened To The Avengers After Endgame (& Why Sam Doesn’t Want To Bring Them Back)
I haven't seen the movie yet, but I was wondering why didn't Feige recast Ross the man who first did it. Sam Elliot. Elliot and Hurt bear a resemblance, it must be the mustache, and fans him as Ross. As for reassembling the Avengers, Thor will always be keeping an eye on Earth and will know when he is needed. Also it would be nice if he got to say Avengers Assemble as it Thor who said it in the comics not Steve Rogers.
"You Just Have To Respect The Tradition": Former Bond Girl From Daniel Craig Era Addresses The Idea Of Female James Bond
I thought that was what the character Jinx was for? A new franchise with a woman in the lead.
After 26 Years, Star Trek Has Finally Settled a DS9 Debate
If it were scoth whiskey or Klingon Blood Wine I would understand. But scotch over Irish whiskey? Sacrilegious. It would be like asking a Scotsman to drink Bourbon. Or worse, a Kentuckian to drink scotch.
Val Kilmer Was Amazing, But I Think Tombstone's Original Doc Holliday Could've Been Great Too
It might have been a different style performance but not necessarily worse. Both are fine actors.
Audie Murphy's 10 Best Westerns, Ranked
In all Murphys film he displayed an easy going charm that makes even a gunslinger likeable
Star Trek's Prequel Movie Means Enterprise's Original Premise Can Finally Happen
Will this prequel film use the same characters as Enterprise? Hopefully, yes.
