See AllHow Star Wars Redeemed Return Of The Jedi's Worst Scene
Now I'm confused. Was Leia killing Jabba not in the original ROTJ? This article makes it seem thay way, but every version I've seen has her satisfyingly killing the notorious star wars villian and I don't think the character needs this new "canon" novel's made up term to redeem anything. She chokes him out in the movie. She was a powerful character all the way through the original trilogy from the beginning. This book just reiterated exactly what was portrayed in the film in regards to Jabba's death. I don't find that the addtional explanation and this new coined term change anything or really have any added value. The scene of Leia killing Jabba is in the movie and it speaks for itself. Well done by George Lucas.
