If Mera had just lost her powers, that's one thing, it's another for her to lose her powers AND be forced to just be a mother and wife, nothing else. It's weird that the one-note tradwife narrative continues to be pushed on comic women.

matriarchy and womanhood is such an essential part of diana's character. involving a man in her creationism story undermines her themes as a character and implies that a woman can't be strong or worthy unless there's a man involved. really loving this fresh take on her backstory. can't wait for more absolute wonder woman!

I love the take on a hero's greatest power being something every human is capable of (Bruce Wayne doesn't count, most likely the person reading this did not inherit billions). This is really convincing me to read this run.
