Idk man, even if we consider power scaling being a typical problem in anime/Manga, I thought super was refreshing. It doesn't mean I didn't enjoy Z while I was watching it, but I being more frustrated with the Cell and Buu sagas compared anything in particular in Super. But super gave us more characters, lore, and reintroduced non-cannon characters in a way I really enjoyed. Is it totally different than Z? Yes. Do I wish Goku didn't lose the IQ he gained in Z? Also yes. But we'll see where it goes. It's a little premature to deminish future stories before they even come out.
