They may have made a mistake allowing all of the Murphy rumors to go on for so long. His presence had a lot of people interested who no longer seem that enthused, some very disappointed. Without him, we have yet another zombie movie.

I hope this is not an indication of a win. It is not the best picture of 2024. The pic, Erivo and Grande will be nominated, and Grande could win, but I hope not. Saldana is magnificent in Emilia Pérez even if she is in the wrong category.

I read the book. It was pretty good and when reading it I thought there is no way this thing will ever be filmed and here we are. It will probably be reworked in some fashion, but I hope it turns out well. The two guys who directed this are acclaimed animation specialists, so we at least know they have talent and Gosling isn't going to hurt. I'll try to forget that they produced Cocaine Bear. I'd be worried if they had written or directed it!
