1st, Crystal is NOT Dan's mother-in-law. Crystal IS technically Dan's STEPMOTHER. 2nd, Crystal was Roseanne's good friend for a long time so it's only natural that Dan would help her out. 3rd, I don't see what Dan's mother would have to do with any of that.
