It isn't doing well because 2 weeks prior you could get the original version for a fifth of the cost. It isn't doing well because the original game isn't old enough to require a remaster it still looks great. It isn't doing well because it was an obvious cash grab. It isn't doing well because remasters in general aren't anything special these days it's just a fresh coat of pixels with no real quality of life. But most of all it isn't doing well because no one asked for this. The game is great, the sequel only released recently on PC, there was no call for a remaster of the first game. Sony has a ton of dead or underutilized IPs (as does every major publisher) this lack of ingenuity or desire to continue a beloved property and instead just rehash the same game with muddy "better" graphics is a joke. I am sure every single gamer can name a game the would love to see a sequel to but instead they got a remaster when the original game was fine as is.

Who exactly thinks this is problematic. Point them out because Popo has been around longer than you have and has never once have I seen anyone complain. The United States isn't the only place in the world who gets to decide how things should look.
