See AllGeorge R. R. Martin's New Announcement Has Finally Made Me Accept He's Never Finishing The Winds Of Winter
So we've heard/seen it all before, like a child riding a merry go 'round for the bazillionth time, with baited breath we tighten our grip, with anticipation, excitement and hope we eagerly await the finale, the piece de resistance of our thrilling adventure. But it never comes...at some point we must escape our surreal fixation on an outcome that has already been decided, an outcome we just might have not considered: what if George has already weighed his options and decided that it is just best to not finish and save himself the ridicule and agony like that which was dished out on season 8. He surmises that it's best to let it die the death of a million complaints, being hated for not finishing is rather to be chosen over finishing and being tormented by criticism for the rest of his life. Honestly, I can't think of a better reason.
Star Wars' Best TV Show Is Almost Over: Here Are 10 Bold Predictions For Andor Season 2's Final Episodes
I love the thought of an epilogue especially as it usually contains a character or theme that continues a thread of the story, thereby, in essence, keeping the story alive. Case in point: Omega in Bad Batch's epilogue.
Miyazaki Wanted To Make A Sequel To His Most Iconic Movie, But Made The Boy and the Heron Instead
Alas, just the thought of Totoro 2 brings great hope and expectations, I should think that is what the world needs now more than ever!
The Wheel Of Time Season 3 Episode 4's Biggest Twists Explained By Showrunner: "Everyone's Brains Exploded"
I too need to go back and check out the scenes again, especially after reading this review, I have much more to ponder. After I watched it the first time I had to ask myself what did I just see? One of the most thought provoking, serendipitous, mind bending episodes ever!
I’m Convinced The MCU Is Setting Up To Make Tom Hiddleston’s Loki Into The Ridiculously Powerful Multiverse Avengers Leader He Is In 1 Major Marvel Comic Story
I've been a long time Marvel comic book reader (since the 70s), and one element that I always enjoyed was the unknown element of which villain would strike next and the depth of the plot. Jump to today, Marvel has had a series of poor production shows/movies and I had to take a break of digesting the sub par stories. Now, after stepping back for a bit, I decided to take a peek of what might be coming up, and I read of Loki again. Frankly, if the writers/directors and forces to be can't do any better than drum up a rehash character then I am done with Marvel for good. There is virtually a plethora of good villains out there with amazing story lines that I am shocked to read again of Loki. How about the Zodiac or Immortus if you still have Kang on your mind, anything but Loki. Yet, if you insist on Loki, too bad Marvel has not developed the Defenders to the point of a Defenders vs Avengers which was an amazing storyline and if Marvel wants Loki, well he was behind that. But the point is, surprise us, challenge us with a great plot, leave us hanging, guessing at what comes next! Anything but a rehash of a worn out villain.
The Force Awakens' First Trailer Released 10 Years Ago Today, And I've Never Known A Better Time To Be A Star Wars Fan As An Adult
Where to start...such a train wreck that there are no words...suffice it to say that the most iconic reunion in the history of film, yes that's right: a chance for Han, Leia, Luke, Chewie, C3PO and R2 to be in a scene together, which will never happen now. From there it goes down hill, just check all the reasons on YouTube, too many to count or list. The sequel trilogy never happened. Disney wiped away 80% of Star Wars calling it legends, I wiped away 100% of sequels calling it a nightmare.
