None of the movies listed were "terrifying from start to finish." "Insidious" and "The Ring" were terrible start to finish and very predictable throughout. Texas Chainsaw Massacre, all versions, is an excessive assault on the senses: too bloody, too much of everything but plot and character development. The best part of "Us" is trying to figure out what is going on (a good Whodunnit) , but calling it terrifying in any sense of the word is a stretch.
The Star Wars Fandom's Biggest Problem Has Nothing To Do With Disney
I disagree with the article's premise. Yes, the George Lucas prequels were terrible and are still extremely difficult to watch. But, the vitriol, misogyny, racism and bigotry of many supposed Star Wars fans that raised up following the "Force Awakens" trilogy and has followed into the various series (especially The Acolyte) was utterly disgusting in my opinion. The actors have even stated as much in interviews. It's this portion of the fanbase that is really hurting Star Wars.
