it’s not a movie tho it’s a world, he’s trying to immerse you in it. it’s a completely original way of viewing cinema, not as something that drives u from point A to B but as a place to step through into another world and spend some time.

getting to spend that much time in this world will only make the emotional payoff in future installments more impactful crazy to me how he’s still at the cutting edge of cinema this far into his career.
