One problem. Lydia had to have come back because Astrid knew her grandparents, and extremely so. There wasn't any awkwardness between her and Delia. So they have had to have met a lot more than once. Right?

I loved Kingdom but I still wish they had only gone a couple of decades instead of centuries. I wanted to see how the "tribes" developed, how Ceasars Apes progressed before we got to this point. I just feel like so much could have gone on and that by going straight to Kingdom the series is being rushed. I get what you're saying here and it makes sense I just think a lot of story and "money" are lost. I guess a sequel/prequel can always be developed later on(?) Idk. Anyway, that's my rant and I can't wait to see more POTA movies here in the future. Just do us a favor Disney, don't rush it and start making bad cheesy storylines.

Planet of the Apes is my favorite franchise. I even enjoyed the one with Marky Mark. And here's my take: I don't want them to rush these movies to get to a "certain point" I want to watch these apes evolve i wasn't keen on the 4th because we lost a lot of evolution. I'm an old man so I know I won't get to see how these stories play out in another 25 50 years, but I want(ed) to see Ceasars kid and Maurice come to their ends and how the apes grew. Idk maybe it's just me. Don't rush these and lose some good storylines.
