The free games that will be offered to Worms Rumble to PS5 and PS4 players. These titles will be available for PS Plus to and play, free of charge, but will only be available for a limited time.
Compared to November's free titles, December may seem a little lackluster. November offered PS Plus Middle-Earth: Shadow of War and Hollow Knight: Voidheart Edition. As well, PS Plus were offered their first-ever free PS5 game: the current-gen launch title Bugsnax. Hollow Knight is a critically acclaimed title that mixes the excruciating difficulty of Dark Souls with 2D platforming and cutesy graphics making it a must-own gem for PlayStation owners. And Bugsnax has proven to be an underdog for the PS5 winning over the hearts of almost every gamer who visits Snaktooth Island.
Now, PlayStation has announced the three titles that will be free in December: Just Cause 4, Rocket Arena, and Worms Rumble. These titles will be free starting on Tuesday, December 1, and PS Plus will have until Monday, January 4th to them. These titles can be ed and played on both PS4 and PS5 systems. Players who these titles will have access to them as long as they are an active PS Plus member.
This underwhelming lineup of free games features the 2020 title Rocket Arena, which has yet to see much success. Two weeks after its release it was permanently discounted to $5. Just Cause 4 is a predictable title to make the lineup of free games as every Just Cause is given away at some point in time. Worms Rumble is another title that PlayStation has decided to offer PS Plus for free during its launch month, and hopefully, it is as well-received as November's Bugsnax.
Whether or not you're excited about December's lineup of free PS Plus titles, they are still three games that players can try out for free. Who knows, Rocket Arena may finally gain the player base it so desperately needs, and Worms Rumble may end up being a smash hit. Regardless, everyone needs something to the time while being on lockdown, and December's free PS Plus games offer at least a few hours of enjoyment.
