Earlier this month, an emulated version of Star Wars: The Clone Wars was listed on the PlayStation Store, sparking speculation that more PS2-emulated games were coming to the PS5 and PS4 soon with the features shown in recent PSOne and PSP titles that received the emulation treatment. These included upgraded graphics, a quick save feature, the ability to rewind, and custom video filters, bringing beloved titles from past generations closer to an experience that modern gamers expect.
PlayStation Plus continues to be a great deal for its subscribers, and incorporating more titles from past generations, and other devices such as PSVR, makes it even greater value for money as it targets an even larger group of gamers while introducing newer generations to classic titles for perhaps the first time. Days of Play 2024 runs from May 29 at 12:01am to June 12 at 11:59pm local time in each region, and with further promotions and unlockable avatars, players should definitely keep an eye on what Sony has in store.
