Summary
- Say goodbye to GTA V and other titles on PS Plus in June - enjoy them before they're gone.
- Make time for games like Indivisible and Dodgeball Academia before they disappear.
- Don't fret over lost games, new titles are on the way to fill the gap in your gaming library.
PlayStation Plus subscribers may still be working their way through May's additions but they might want to refocus their attention given that the platform is losing a dozen games in June. While the ability to access a library of hit titles for just a single monthly payment does sound like an incredible deal, it's always difficult to come to with the fact that the catalog can expand and shrink in the blink of an eye. Games come and games go, so it's up to s to ensure they play what they want before it departs.
Per Push Square, PS Plus Extra and PS Plus are losing some excellent titles on June 18, including Grand Theft Auto V, one of the most popular games ever made:
- Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons (PS4)
- DC League of Super-Pets: The Adventures of Krypto and Ace (PS4)
- Dodgeball Academia (PS4)
- Grand Theft Auto V (PS5, PS5)
- Indivisible (PS4)
- Monster Jam Steel Titans (PS4)'
- MotoGP 23 (PS4, PS5)
- SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom Rehydrated (PS4)
- The Talos Principle: Deluxe Edition (PS4)'
- The Wild at Heart (PS4)
- Unturned (PS4)
In addition to those losses, PS Plus will also see the departure of Baja: Edge of Control HD (PS4). It's a decent chunk of games, but the one that undoubtedly hurts the most is Grand Theft Auto V, which continues to be one of the most-played games around the world despite its age and the looming presence of GTA VI.

Every PlayStation Plus Essential, Extra, & Game Available May 2024
May 2024 is bringing a new lineup of games to PlayStation Plus, and there's definitely some exciting action-packed additions this time around.
Play These Gems Before They Leave
You Never Know If They'll Return
It seems unlikely that someone hasn't yet played GTA V in 2024 but for those who haven't, having just under a month to experience the single-player campaign is possible with some dedication and commitment. Rockstar's seminal open-world hit is littered with tasks and missions to accomplish; the average amount of time to beat the game without focusing on all the side content is approximately 32 hours. Unfortunately, those who have spent some time in GTA Online through PS Plus will need to purchase the game to continue playing.
Aside from GTA V, there are some quiet classics in the mix, one of the best puzzle games of the last decade with some thought-provoking philosophy thrown in for good measure.
PlayStation Plus may be losing some great games in June but subscribers needn't panic because a host of new titles will likely be announced in the coming week that should fill the gap. To soften the blow of GTA V's departure, s could check out Rockstar's most recent Red Dead Redemption 2 which was just added to the service in May. Alternatively, there's also the excellent strategy game The Settlers: New Allies and the sneak espionage multiplayer game Deceive. Inc.
