Target is reportedly receiving a restock of PS5 is the fastest-selling console in history, plenty of gamers are still struggling to get their hands on one. Thankfully, retailers like GameStop and Walmart have been making efforts to increase their stock of the PS5 over the past few months, though the hot new system tends to vanish off of shelves almost as quickly as it arrives.

Console restock tracker Jake Randall believes that while Target stores won’t be restocking their PS5 inventories today, Jan 5, a new shipment of the console is coming at some point later this week (via VGC). According to Randall, Target is supposedly getting a restock of nearly 200 physical disk PS5s at certain locations, while others already have around 20 to 40 units available to sell. These outlets are said to also have a supply of PS5 Digital Edition consoles and Xbox Series X systems on hand, but these will be more limited in comparison to the new physical PS5 shipment.

While this supposed restock of PlayStation 5 consoles at Target hasn’t been officially confirmed yet, it is worth pointing out that Jake Randall has correctly predicted big Target PS5 shipments in the past. If the reports are true, then it looks like players still looking to grab the PS5 might get another chance at their local Target later this week – assuming the online scalpers don’t snatch them all up first. As official dates haven't been shared by the leaker, those still hunting for the Sony console are advised to check with their local stores for potential stock updates.
