Some of the most fascinating parts of the women's lives in The Real Housewives franchise are their lavish home lives and the people they call friends. After running in wealthy circles for years, these women meet celebrities in high places. And sometimes, these non-Bravo celebrities make cameos on the show because of the events they're attending and the people they know.
From the East Coast to the West Coast, big-time celebrities have made small appearances on The Real Housewives as friends, performers, guests, and beyond. Their presence only reconfirms how popular and well-off these ladies are.
Kris Jenner (RHOBH)
Kris Jenner is no newbie when it comes to the world of reality television. After 20 seasons of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Kris Jenner could probably teach a thing or two to her friends on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Because of her longtime friendship with Kyle Richards, Faye Resnick, and Lisa Rinna, Jenner has appeared in three different episodes of RHOBH over the years. And yes, she looked as fabulous (and rich) as ever.
Candace Bushnell (RHONY)
Candace Bushnell is a journalist and author of many successful books, most notably Sex and the City. It was because of her column in The New York Observer that she had the inspiration for her books.
Being a longtime New Yorker, it was fun for fans to see Bushnell in two different episodes of RHONY. She has been longtime friends with former housewife Dorinda Medley and is also friends with Ramona Singer.
Wendy Williams (RHOA)
NeNe Leakes became an instant sensation after her time on The Real Housewives of Atlanta. She even went on to star in Glee! Because of her newfound fame, NeNe became friends with people in high places, including TV host Wendy Williams. Williams' face never appeared on camera but her voice was heard on two different episodes during private conversations with NeNe. However, Williams was over.
Betty White (RHOC)
In the eighth season of RHOC, Heather Dubrow was excited to jump back into acting when she was cast as a guest-starring role in Hot in Cleveland. Heather was excited but nervous about ing a new series; she wanted to make a good impression. And luckily for her, she knocked it out of the park.
During the table read, the one and only Betty White made a quick appearance as she was walking to her seat. She greeted Heather and looked happy to start work.
Aretha Franklin (RHONY)
In the second season of RHONY, some of the women traveled to the Hamptons for a famous horse show that brought the likes of famous faces. Famed singer-songwriter Aretha Franklin was shown quickly on the red carpet doing a few interviews before heading into the event. Seeing someone as famous as Franklin on a show like RHONY was unique, to say the least.
Patti LaBelle (RHONJ)
In the fourth season of RHONJ, Chris Manzo and his friend Greg went to the Fancy Food Show to promote their water, BLK. While they were there, they had the chance to meet the musical legend, Patti LaBelle. Greg was on a natural high hugging Miss LaBelle and even gave her a BLK Water to try for herself. Funny enough, Patti is a fan of The Real Housewives and already knew who he was!
Carson Kressley (RHOP)
Carson Kressley is a hilarious TV personality and stylist. He made an appearance on two episodes of The Real Housewives of Potomac but he has also popped up on RHOBH and is friends with the other ladies and getting to know the audience.
Victoria Gotti (RHONJ)
Victoria Gotti is known for her famous last name thanks to her father being the Gambino mob boss, John Gotti. Ms. Gotti later had four children and had her own show about her family, Growing Up Gotti. Surprisingly, in season 6 Victoria made an appearance on RHONJ as Teresa's friend. She sat down with Teresa and Amber to talk about another cast member's husband, which stirred the pot for the other ladies.
Babyface (RHOBH)
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills has some of the most famous faces in the series thanks to their zip code. When Yolanda Hadid was a housewife and married to David Foster, some of the most important musicians in the world were at their parties, including Babyface and Stevie Wonder. Seeing how "normal" these big-time stars were was refreshing. It's also intriguing to watch some of the housewives mingling with other celebrities.
Valerie Bertinelli (RHOC)
Valerie Bertinelli is another famous actress who popped up during Heather's table read. The table read was so engrossing to watch because it gave non-acting viewers a peek at what table reads were like. Seeing Heather Dubrow among some of the biggest names in the industry was eye-opening for RHOC fans.
