The Real Housewives of Miami star Joanna Krupa and her husband, Douglas Nunes, revealed that their relationship has come to an end. The former model hasn't starred in the Bravo reality show since RHOM season 3 ended. However, followers have been able to keep up to date on her semi-private life, not knowing there were issues within the marriage.

Fans learned via RHOM alum Joanna and Douglas have decided to go their separate ways after only being married for five years. It was reported that Douglas filed the paperwork first while in Los Angeles on March 24. Court documents obtained by Page Six showed that the chief executive of 451 Media Group listed January 2, 2023, as their date of separation. Douglas asked the court that any financial be denied.

The court paperwork also revealed that the cause for the divorce was marked as irreconcilable differences. The couple got married in July 2018 in a lavish ceremony in Poland and have a 3-year-old daughter named Asha-Leigh. Douglas has asked for t custody. Joanna released a statement on her Instagram noting that she and her soon-to-be ex-husband were concentrating on being the best co-parents they could be to their daughter. She asked for privacy and stated she would no longer speak out on the subject of their divorce.

Joanna Was Married To Someone Else On RHOM

Joanna was previously married to Romain Zago. Their relationship played out in the first three seasons of RHOM. The couple was married from 2013 to 2017. After four years of marriage, Joanna filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences, with neither party asking for spousal . Their relationship onscreen was a bit volatile as the model and restaurateur would often argue while appearing on RHOM. It did not help their relationship that Joanna's little sister, Marta, moved into their Miami apartment with them.

Joanna hasn't kept in touch with many of her former friends on The Real Housewives of Miami. The mother of one has worked on her animal rights campaign as she has been a long-time activist. Joanna also competed with Derek Hough in Dancing With The Stars season 9, where she placed fourth; Donny Osmond ended up winning the Mirrorball Trophy. Since 2012, Joanna has been the host and head judge on Poland's version of Top Model. She has no plans on returning to the Bravo show and is now concentrating on working through her separation and ironing out the couple's assets.

What Is Joanna Up To In 2024?

While Joanna has RHOM in her rearview mirror, she hasn't completely shut the door on reality TV. Joanna is currently the host and head judge on the Polish version of Top Model. She's been a part of the show since its first season in 2010 and celebrated the most recent season's grand finale in November 2024. Joanna was a long-time successful model, so her career as a judge and host of Top Model is not shocking. It seems Joanna found a lot of success after appearing on The Real Housewives of Miami, and not just professionally.

Joanna welcomed her daughter Asha-Leigh Nunes, in 2019, with her second ex-husband, Douglas. The former couple shared legal t custody of their three-year-old daughter. Joanna is super close to Asha-Leigh, as the model is always sharing sweet photos of the mother-daughter duo on Instagram.

She also enjoys sharing photos with her family and friends online, including her sister Marta, who appeared on the Bravo reality series alongside Joanna. Other than caring for her family, Joanna is also a huge animal rights activist. She uses her public platform to promote animal rescue initiatives that align with her long-term efforts. While her professional and public appearances have been more low-key, her dedication to animal rights remains a focus for her.

Joanna is likely done with The Real Housewives of Miami. While she was a great addition 10 years ago, Joanna has moved on from her days as a housewife. However, fans can continue to keep up with her reality TV endeavors on the Polish version of Top Model.
