Reality TV draws in numerous viewers, and there is no better place to watch the drama unfold than Bravo; this channel is home to shows such as The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills since the cast work at SUR, a restaurant in Hollywood that is owned by Lisa Vanderpump.
Whether they are serving drinks, hustling to become big names in show business, fighting with exes, partying way too hard or getting engaged, these reality television stars have been entertaining the world for years and years. That being said, let's take a look back in time at the cast then and compare that to how they look and what they are up to now!
Kristen Doute
When the show started, Kristen Doute was a server at SUR and dating Tom Sandoval. As fans know, she cheated on him with Jax and then moved on to James, making for lots of dramatic scenes.
She has been busy professionally, as well: Her first book will come out this summer (He's Making You Crazy, a funny autobiographical guide to dating), she has a clothing line called James Mae, and she has put out Basic Witch Potion No. 1 (a pinot grigio) and Basic Witch Potion No. 2 (a rosé) with Stassi Schroeder and Katie Maloney-Schwartz.
Katie Maloney-Schwartz
Katie Maloney was first seen serving at SUR and dating Tom Schwartz, and these two tied the knot in 2016! It has not been completely smooth sailing for the two, but they are a couple that has actually stayed together, amidst all the craziness of this show.
Plus, as mentioned, she has Basic Witch Potions (which are alcoholic beverages) with two of her co-stars, Kristen Doute and Stassi Schroeder, since these gals are the witches of WeHo (West Hollywood)!
Tom Sandoval
Tom Sandoval has seen some pretty big changes since Season 1. Back then, he was a bartender at SUR, and he was dating Kristen Doute. Things got messy, though, as faithful viewers know, and she cheated on him with Jax.
Nowadays, this star is busy with TomTom, another one of Lisa Vanderpump's ventures (Tom Sandoval and Tom Schwartz are junior partners of this restaurant and bar) and with Ariana Madix (the two are dating and recently got a new house together).
Stassi Schroeder
A major plot point early on within this series involved Stassi Schroeder’s chaotic relationship with Jax Taylor. That feels so long ago, though, right?!
As fans know, she is now planning a wedding with Beau Clark (They got engaged last year in the Hollywood Forever Cemetery, which is very fitting, if anyone knows this chick.). She has Basic Witch Potions No. 1 and No. 2 (a rosé) with Kristen Doute and Katie Maloney-Schwartz. She also released a best-selling book, Next Level Basic: The Definitive Basic Bitch Handbook, last year, and she recently got her own digital series, which is called Basically Stassi.
Scheana Shay
Like most of the other servers at SUR, Scheana Shay decided to work there while pursuing a career in acting and singing. And over the years, she has been in television series such as 90210, she has released several singles, and she started a podcast.
She also caused some drama on The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills, when she had an affair with Eddie Cibrian, who was married to Brandi Glanville and is now with LeAnn Rimes. She also got married, to Michael Shay, in 2014, but they divorced a couple of years later.
Jax Taylor
As stated, back in Season 1, Jax Taylor was with Stassi, but he cheated on her with Kristen. There were several other women that were involved with this man, but he is now married to Brittany Cartwright; yes, he settled down, and they even received their own spin-off, Vanderpump Rules: Jax and Brittany Take Kentucky, which featured them traveling to her family's farm in 2017.
Besides working at SUR and tying the knot, Jax has also modeled for big brands, such as Men’s Health, Cosmopolitan, Target, Macy's and Nordstrom.
Tom Schwartz
Tom Schwartz was in a relationship with Katie Maloney when this series started, and in 2016, they made it official and got married.
He saw more success when he became involved with TomTom; as stated, this is another restaurant and bar that is owned by Lisa Vanderpump and her husband, Ken Todd, and both Tom Schwartz and Tom Sandoval are junior partners of this t.
Ariana Madix
Ariana Madix started out as a bartender at SUR, and today, she is in a relationship with Tom Sandoval. In fact, these two recently put out a cocktail recipe book, which is called Fancy AF Cocktails: Drink Recipes from a Couple of Professional Drinkers.
It has not been all smooth sailing for these two either, but they did recently move into a new home, as did Katie and Tom and Jax and Brittany.
James Kennedy
In the beginning, James Kennedy was a SUR busboy, and over the years, he was involved with Kristen, Lala Kent, and friends of the cast, as he moved from a guest to a recurring character and on to a main cast member
Fast forward to 2020, and he is a DJ (as seen by this accompanying photo ... He even had his own event at BravoCon, which was called Pump It Up with James Kennedy!) and dating Raquel Leviss, who went from a guest on the show to a recurring part of it.
Lala Kent
Last but not least, there is Lala Kent. When she came onto this show, she was a hostess, and currently, she has a beauty line called Give Them Lala Beauty (named after a tagline for which she is known), and she is engaged to Randall Emmett.
Emmett is a film and television producer who has worked on movies such as Amityville: The Awakening, Extraction, Heist and The Wicker Man.
