You'll need most of the major upgrades to your gear in Revenge of the Savage Planet to track down and eat all the Orange Balls of Goo, though some of these don't require any upgrades at all. There Are 24 Balls Of Goo Spread Across Xephyr
Once you reach Xephyr, you'll get a number of different side quests specific to this planet, such as finding all the Alta 'Toxic' Employee Cry-o-Pods. As you explore the region and complete these various side quests, you can collect a total of 24 different Orange Balls of Goo. These are collectible items that increase your health and stamina, and they're definitely useful when you get to the later stages of the game.

A majority of the Orange Balls of Goo on Xephyr are found in G'nortt's High Rise, though many of these will have to be accessed by way of the adjacent areas, via grinding rails or scaling the mountainside with crystal platforms using the Magnetic Fork. To get all the Orange Balls of Goo in Xephyr, you'll have to fully explore all of its sub-regions. Many of these are near each other and don't require overly extensive exploration. One good thing about the Orange Balls of Goo is that you can always go back later and get them if you don't have the required upgrades to your suit, whip, weapon, etc.

To complete the Shock and Awe challenge, you must electrify enemies by utilizing your environment and creatures in Revenge of the Savage Planet.
However, I recommend grabbing all the Orange Balls of Goo that you can as you come across them in order to take advantage of the health and stamina boosts. These come in very useful as you progress into the next levels, and will make collecting Balls of Goo in later stages a lot easier. Almost all of these Balls of Goo require the Magnetic Fork in order to platform across various crystals or smash open crystal barricades. You'll definitely need the grapple and rail grind upgrades as well, but if you completed all the Stellaris Prime objectives and upgraded your gear substantially before coming to Xephyr, you should be in good shape.
