There are a few bosses in Genshin Impact that players can battle repeatedly in order to gain rare materials and a lot of experience, and one of the most unique bosses is Rhodeia of Loch, also known as Oceanid of Qingce. This giant waterbird can be quite the challenge for a player to defeat on their own, but it can also be a tad bit difficult to find. Luckily, once the player locates Rhodeia they can activate a teleportation waypoint located closeby.
Rhodeia of Loch is an elite mob that is available for players to fight as soon as they progress the storyline far enough to unlock Liyue which is the second continent players are granted access to. As mentioned prior, Rhodeia of Loch uses the element of water in battle, and defeating it is the only way to obtain a Cleansing Heart. This waterfowl is one of Genshin Impact's strongest elite mobs and is easier to defeat with friends, but first, the player will have to find him hidden among the mountains.
Where To Find Genshin Impact's Rhodeia of Loch
Rhodeia of Loch is located in a valley in the region of Liyue. He does not roam the overworld like other bosses. Instead, his boss fight has to be triggered by the player. The trigger is located on a large square platform in the middle of a medium-sized body of water. This body of water can be found behind Wuwang Hill which is near the top of the continent of Liyue. There is a teleportation waypoint nearby which players can use to travel there quickly after visiting the first time. There is also a cooking station nearby for players to make food before the big fight. See the image above for the exact location.
Rhodeia is a very challenging boss as the area in which the fight takes place is completely submerged in water, and the platform shrinks as the fight progresses. However, the players never fight Rhodeia of Loch directly, but instead, fight the water familiars that it summons. Each wave of enemies summoned gets stronger and stronger, but defeating each wave takes a chunk out of Rhodeia's health. Using water, electric, and fire characters will deal massive amounts of damage to Rhodeia's minions and make the fight a little easier, but it's always better to bring along a couple of friends.
