The longevity of animated shows is a problem for the genre as a whole, but two of the best pieces of adult animation don't have to deal with it.

While Rick and Morty will follow a weekly release schedule and won't be available to stream on HBO Max until September 1 (via The Wrap), Big Mouth will likely release all 10 episodes in season 8 simultaneously. That means two of the most popular animated shows for adults will both release new episodes within the same weekend.

8 Storylines Big Mouth Season 8 Needs To Resolve Before The Show Ends
