Rick and Morty season 7. However, the case was dismissed earlier on Wednesday due to there not being enough evidence to prove the incident beyond reasonable doubt.
After the case was dismissed, Roiland shared his reaction to the proceedings on his official Twitter .
In his first official statement since the decision, Roiland said that "I have always known that these claims were false." He went on to say that "I'm determined to move forward and focus both on my creative projects and restoring my good name."

It is currently unknown if Adult Swim will see fit to invite Roiland to return for Rick and Morty season 7. One potential road block is the reported falling-out between him and co-creator Dan Harmon, which has failed to be reconciled for years. However, given the fact that he is the voice of the show's two central characters, that may provide an incentive for the producers to bring him back at least in a performance capacity.
Rick and Morty wasn't the only property to drop Roiland after the accusations. The creator was also removed from his Hulu series Solar Opposites and Koala Man. Although he was an executive producer on Koala Man and his removal had less impact on the final product, Solar Opposites is another series that features him in a major role.
It remains to be seen if the Rick and Morty creator's public and private reputation will change after this dismissal. As many of his Twitter statement's replies have noted, Roiland has also been accused of other controversial behavior outside of this particular case, including alleged messages sent to minors. Should any of these allegations blossom into their own case or cause producers to be skittish about inviting him back, tying up the loose ends from this case and his subsequent firing may take longer than anticipated.
