Here's Tammy's wedding betrayal to Birdperson in Community). Rick And Morty revolves around the misadventures of the main duo; drunken genius scientist Rick Sanchez and his nibbish grandson Morty.
Rick And Morty's rapid-fire brand of dark comedy, gory action, and surprisingly deep themes make it one of the most rewarding series on TV. Season 3, in particular, explored the fallout of Beth and Jerry divorcing and the effects it had on their family, though they reconciled towards the end - much to Rick's chagrin. It also takes a long time to produce, with the wait between seasons even being joked about on the show itself. The first half of season 4 arrived in late 2019, though it's currently unknown when the remaining episodes will air.
Rick And Morty's Tammy Guetermann was introduced as a friend of Rick's granddaughter Summer during season 1, though she was very much a background character. She became more prominent in season 2 when she enters a relationship with Birdperson, Rick's best friend, with the two having previously fought together against the tyrannical Galactic Federation. In the season 2 finale "The Wedding Squanchers" Rick and the family are invited to Tammy and Birdperson's wedding - which even moves Rick to give a nice speech.
Sadly, the celebration is short-lived as Rick And Morty's "The Wedding Squanchers" reveals Tammy is really an agent of the Galactic Federation. Everything about her was a lie and the wedding was designed to lure as many of Birdperson's criminal friends to one place as possible. The understandably heartbroken groom is shot by Tammy herself multiple times before a huge battle breaks out, though Rick and his family manage to flee.
After Rick earned his revenge in Game Of Thrones Red Wedding too, and established the Galactic Federation as a threat to be taken seriously. Sadly, Tammy's betrayal probably helped cement Rick's bleak views on love, but while the show has set her up as a villain, she has yet to return. That said, rebuilding the Galactic Federation will take some time...
