The Righteous Gemstones has come to a close, with the series finale featuring a massive twist regarding the identity of season 4's main villain.

This leaves a mystery as to who Baby Billy's three other wives were. No information is given on these characters, with them remaining a complete mystery. What Did Thaniel Block Know About Aimee-Leigh?

He Clearly Had Dirt On Her

Thaniel Block is a new character who is introduced in The Righteous Gemstones season 2, with him being an investigative journalist who has a history of exposing scandals within famous evangelist families. It is later revealed that Lyle Lissons has been providing Thaniel Block with information about these pastors. However, Lyle refused to give Thaniel information about the Gemstones, forcing him to interview Eli himself. Lyle later kills Thaniel, leading to this storyline being unresolved.

In his interview with Eli, Thaniel reveals that he has learned something shady about Aimee-Leigh from her former employees. Eli's reaction implies that there is something to be worried about. However, exactly what Thaniel knows is never revealed before his death. Aimee-Leigh is famously the moral center of the Gemstone family, so it would be interesting to know what sort of scandal she had gotten herself into.

How Were The Gemstones Not Caught For The Lissons' Murders?

They Seem Like Obvious Suspects

Of the various The Righteous Gemstones villains, the Lissons probably had the most violent deaths. In The Righteous Gemstones season 2 finale, the Gemstones have Martin Imari take care of the Lissons after they have run away to Alaska. Thus, Martin arranges for the motorcycle ninjas to drive to their cabin and kill them. The ninjas shoot and kill Linda Lissons in her front yard, while Lyle runs away. Lyle is later seen frozen, with a pack of wolves menacingly approaching him.

Since Gemstone Minsitries was directly involved in plotting the murder of the Lissons, it is surprising that they were never caught. After all, the Lissons were incredibly powerful and wealthy, meaning that their disappearance should have been notable. The Gemstones' conflicts throughout season 2 already got police attention, and their involvement with Zion's Landing combined with the Lissons' sudden deaths definitely should have gotten a lot of attention brought to the Gemstones.
