The cars of the just like Dominic Toretto. Released alongside The Fate and the Furious, fans were able to grab Dom's Dodge Charger (known in-game as the "Ice Charger") alongside the '99 Nissan Skyline that regularly featured Bryan O'Conner behind the wheel.
Both of these DLC cars were put into the vault along with all other DLC when Psyonix made Rocket League a free-to-play game. The cars in these packs are still available to use for anyone who bought them in the past, and players may have an opportunity to pick them up from the in-game store in the future. However, most new cars are now coming through the Rocket system. This is a Battle like players may find in many online-focused games nowadays, and each one features a few cars for those willing to cough up the cash for the option and play enough to get to the top of the pile.
Thankfully, the three-car F9 car bundle announced for possibly space-bound Pontiac Fiero that eagle-eyed viewers will likely due to the giant rocket strapped to its roof.
Each of these DLC Rocket League cars will feature a collection of decals and two paint jobs, but none of these customization items can stretch beyond the car they were built for. Each car will also feature a "Reel Life" decal that makes the vehicle match up with its on-screen counterpart. Psyonix is offering two Player Anthems that come straight from the Fast Saga alongside the car bundle, and players can grab everything from the in-game store on June 17. To celebrate the release, Pysonix is hosting a Rumble tournament on their Twitch channel on June 19 themed around the film series that's set to feature top crews from the Rocket League community.
Seeing a vehicle from F9 show up in Rocket League is definitely welcome, but fans will likely be more excited for the return of the two previous DLC cars. Fast fans who've picked up the game in recent months never had the chance to grab the signature car of Vin Diesel's lovable criminal ringleader, and putting it back into the game means that there's a chance for other vehicles to eventually return for a second go-around.
