Here's a cast and character guide for CBS' Enter The Dragon director Robert Clouse, and 1985's The Protector. Neither movie was a hit and Chan - who was particularly unhappy with the sleaziness of the latter movie - decided to focus on his Hong Kong projects instead. It wasn't until 1998's Rush Hour that he found the perfect vehicle and the movie paired him with Chris Tucker.

The movie was a surprise smash hit and the duo quickly reunited for Rush Hour 2. Rush Hour 3 from 2007 is currently the last entry in the movie franchise and was considered flat compared to the first two. The last decade or so has seen a surge in turning movie franchises into TV shows, including Lethal Weapon, and it was Rush Hour's turn in 2016. Sadly, the resulting series was something of a stale procedural comedy that didn't catch on with audiences, and Rush Hour would only last for thirteen episodes.

Jon Foo - Detective Jonathan Lee

Jon Foo (Tekken) found himself in the unenviable position of replacing Jackie Chan in the Rush Hour TV series, where he inherits the role of Detective Lee. The pilot finds Lee traveling from Hong Kong to L.A. to recover some stolen statues and find his sister Kim's killer - who he later learns is alive. Lee's reluctantly teamed with Carter and the show retains their dynamic from the movies; Lee is reserved and cautious while Carter is loud and impulsive.

Justin Hires - Detective James Carter

Justin Hires (MacGyver) takes over from Chris Tucker as Carter. Carter isn't happy with being forced to "babysit" Lee when the show begins, but the two form a friendship over time. Carter is also prone to making quips and getting the pair into trouble, though he's also shown to have a good heart too.

Aimee Garcia - Sergeant Didi Diaz

The Addams Family's Aimee Garcia plays Diaz on Rush Hour, Carter's friend and ex-partner who now works a desk. She still helps out on Lee and Carter's cases and is handy in a fight.

Wendie Malick - Captain Cole

Captain Cole is played by Wendie Malick on Rush Hour. Like every Captain ever in a cop movie or TV show, she regularly has to chew out Lee and Carter over their destructive ways but also understands they get the job done.

Page Kennedy - Gerald Page

The Meg's Page Kennedy is Gerald on Rush Hour, Carter's informant and cousin. Page es along tips to Lee and Carter, with the latter having a tangled history with him.
