With the introduction of the Galaxy Buds Pro, headphone jack is disappearing from smartphones. While they were expensive to begin with, prices have gradually dropped due to the proliferation of offerings.
Samsung's Galaxy Buds series are some of the most popular in the market because of their simple integration with Galaxy smartphones. Samsung first released the original Buds model, followed by the Buds+, Buds Live, and Buds Pro. Each model has slightly different features, depending on the price.
For starters, shaped like beans and they also have Active Noise Cancellation (ANC). The Buds Live also have the longest battery in the entire Galaxy Buds lineup, with up to 28 hours. Finally, the Galaxy Buds Pro are Samsung's latest and best wireless earbuds. They return to the familiar design of the Buds and Buds+, which allows for better ANC compared to the Buds Live. Samsung has also upgraded the drivers and microphones on the Buds Pro for superior sound and call quality. Unfortunately, the Buds Pro only have a battery life of 13 hours.
A Galaxy Buds Set For Everyone
Samsung prices its Galaxy Buds at between $130 to $200. The Buds and Buds+ offer the core Samsung wireless earbuds experience as each set has good sound quality and adjustable ambient levels, but spending the extra $20 on the Buds+ gives listeners a few more hours of battery life. An additional $20 gets the Buds Live, which is worthwhile for s who would benefit from the ANC feature seen on more expensive earbuds. Their design limits the effectiveness of the feature, though, due to the lack of ear tips. For those who do not like the feeling of ear tips, the Buds Live are a great option. At $200, the Buds Pro are Samsung's most expensive earbuds, and their features justify the value but only for those who will make use of them. Along with better ANC and ambient sound, the Buds Pro also feature 360 Audio — Samsung's answer to Apple's spatial audio — that adjusts the apparent direction form which video audio comes from as the turns their head. The Buds Pro are for listeners who want Samsung's optimal wireless listening experience.
Dismissing the Buds and Buds+, the Buds Live and Buds Pro can be compared to Apple's AirPods and AirPods Pro. Buds Live and AirPods offer ive noise cancelation because both do not isolate the ear canal, however, Buds Live have the extra feature of ANC and longer battery life. The Buds Pro and AirPods Pro differ in design but their features are very similar. But, while Buds Pro are the latest Samsung earbuds, the AirPods Pro have significantly better battery life at 24 hours.
