The Galaxy Tab S8 series is the iPad tends to dominate the entire market. Whether it's the $329 baseline iPad or a maxed-out iPad Pro, there's an iPad for every budget and niche.
But that's not to say other companies aren't making tablets. In fact, Samsung releases just as many (if not more) tablets during any given year. In February 2022, Samsung debuted the Galaxy Tab S8, Tab S8+, and Tab S8 Ultra as its three latest tablet offerings. All three are packed with flagship specs/features and promise to be the perfect iPad antidote folks have been searching for.
Another way not unlike the pink iPhone 13), but it looks gorgeous and adds a welcome splash of color to the Tab S8 lineup.
The Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra Is Only Available In One Color
Unfortunately, Samsung seems to have exhausted all of its color creativity with the Tab S8 and Tab S8+. For some reason, the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra is available just in graphite... and that's it. It isn't uncommon for 'ultra' and 'pro' devices to ditch flashier color options, but to not even offer silver for the Tab S8 Ultra feels like a missed opportunity. Not everyone wants a black tablet, but with the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra, that's the only option shoppers have.
While this is one of Samsung's weaker color offerings, everything at least pairs nicely with other gadgets in the company's portfolio. Graphite and silver are neutral colors and go with virtually anything. The pink gold hue for the Tab S8/S8+ perfectly complements the pink Galaxy S21/S21+ and pink gold Galaxy Watch 4. More colors are always welcome, but alas, this is what Samsung's offering. The Galaxy Tab S8 series launches on February 25 for $699 for the Galaxy Tab S8, $899 for the Galaxy Tab S8+, and $1199 for the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra.
