A Built-in S Pen Will Take Up Precious Space
It is understandable why the Galaxy Z Fold 4 doesn't have a slot for a stylus like the Galaxy S22 Ultra. Samsung is trying to make the Z Fold as light as possible and comfortable to use for long periods. It also has to take into consideration the battery life while doing this. Adding a built-in S Pen will not only add weight to the device but also take up precious space that could have been used for a bigger battery or other components.
Although the Galaxy Z Fold 4 doesn't have a built-in stylus, Samsung has released the S Pen Fold edition in two new colors that match its new foldable smartphone. In addition to Black, the S Pen Fold Edition will also be available in Graygreen and Sand. However, the more expensive S Pen Pro is only available in Black. The price tag of the new colors of the S Pen Pro isn't available yet, but it should still cost $49.99, like the black version.
