A new leak from a reputable tipster has seemingly confirmed the camera specs of Galaxy S22 Ultra Vs. iPhone 14 Pro Max: Which Is The Better Flagship?Tipster Yogesh Brar has seemingly confirmed earlier rumors that the Galaxy S23 Ultra will ship with a 200MP primary camera. According to his latest tweet, the device will also have a 10MP periscope telephoto camera with 10X zoom and another 10MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. If the claim is accurate, it would mean that only the primary sensor would get a notable upgrade, while the other two might be recycled from the S22 Ultra. However, earlier rumors suggested that the S23 Ultra could offer better image processing than its predecessor, meaning the image quality could still see an improvement across all three cameras.

The news about the Galaxy S23's primary camera was originally revealed in August by prolific tipster Ice Universe, who claimed that the device will ship with a 200MP primary image sensor with 0.6 µm pixels and 1/1.3-inch sensor. The tipster also revealed that the camera is expected to be mated to an f/1.7 lens, which would be slightly larger than the f/1.8 aperture on the S22 Ultra's 108MP camera lens.

Other reports also claimed that the primary camera on the S23 Ultra could feature sensor-shift OIS similar to the iPhone 14 Pro, but it remains to be seen if that will happen. As for the front-facing camera, it is expected to be a 40MP unit like the one in its predecessor, but there's no confirmation of that yet. Overall, the Galaxy S23 Ultra will likely be a compelling flagship, but whether it will be worth an upgrade from the S22 Ultra remains to be seen.
