With contrasting personalities, the two find themselves at loggerheads which provides a great amount of comedy for audiences. However, it underlines Sarah's unapproachable manner and tunnel-visioned way of working. Of course, she had to trust her judgment and ability to get herself to a high standard of work. But nonetheless, initially, she isn't portrayed as the friendliest of characters.

Margaret - The Proposal (2009)

Available To Stream On Peacock.

Margaret Tate holding a coffee cup and looking haughty in The Proposal

A deserved Golden Globes Nomination was received by Sandra Bullock for her role as Margaret in The Proposal. The unique love story gave a different take on the usual rom-com narrative, which created an interesting but, at times, not overly likable character to convey, in one of Sandra Bullock's highest-grossing movies.

Margaret hadn't built particularly good relationships with her colleagues, due to her forceful persona. And, as the starting point to the main plot line, she uses her assistant Andrew (Ryan Reynolds) by making him marry her, so she isn't deported back to Canada. Her motive is wholly unfair and indicates a willingness to do what it takes to get what she wants, even if it hurts others along the way.

Sandra Bullock looking upset in The Unforgivable

The Unforgivable saw Sandra Bullock in one of her darkest roles to date. The story followed a woman released from prison, trying to find her way in society, whilst looking for the younger sister she had to leave behind.

Likability doesn't always take the form of an outwardly joyful and openly warm person. Sometimes, it's reflected in a character's morals or values, which is exactly what happened for Sandra Bullock's role in the best horror movies on Netflix.

With 2 children in tow, Malorie has to navigate a post-apocalyptic world, which came about with no warning. Though having to develop a toughness and become fairly straight-talking, it's all in the best interests of survival for her and her children. Her sincerity only comes from her protective nature and the world she now lives in, which left no room for dilly-dallying.

Sandra Bullock in Miss Congeniality 2

Miss. Congeniality became a fan favorite of the early 2000s. Although some concepts didn't age so well, the film remains memorable at the mention of the actor's name, with plenty of ways that Gracie is Sandra Bullock's best role.

The undercover FBI agent has to change up her brash manner to fit in with the world of beauty pageants and leave any preconceived ideas behind. But it's Gracie's quick wit and even clumsiness, which makes her a relatable character and consequently, one of Bullock's most likable portrayals.

As one of Hugh Grant's best rom-coms, Two Weeks Notice was a fairly typical movie for the actor, who played an emotionally thoughtless and uncaring character. Lucy (Sandra Bullock) was on the receiving end of his undesirable behavior.

Driven and intelligent, Lucy knows her worth and had a lot of traits that viewers could connect with. Being put next to a character such as George (Grant) highlighted her likable ways even more, proving she was deserving of a better boss.
