Avengers: Endgame, her powers in altering reality continue to come into question. Based on the path she's heading down and a tease dating back to before her franchise debut, Scarlet Witch could very well be the key to opening the Multiverse in Phase 4.

Wanda was forced to witness Thanos removing the Mind Stone from Vision, essentially killing him, before she fell victim to the "Blip." When the surviving Avengers reversed Thanos' actions years later, Wanda returned, fighting in the Avengers' climactic battle against Thanos. In WandaVision, Wanda is seemingly trapped in some type of sitcom-themed alternate dimension with Vision, whose very much alive in this reality. As SWORD investigates from outside of the hexagon boundary to examine Wanda's capabilities, the show indicates the MCU could soon be entering uncharted territoryDuring a 2013 press junket for Spike Lee's Oldboy remake, Olsen actually teased Scarlet Witch's powers, including her connection to the Multiverse, before the character even made her MCU debut:

The most recent thing I learned - I don't even know if it has anything [to do with the film], it's just fun to read these comics - it's just so fun! Like, she's a 'nexus,' like she's the only human being from this universe who can communicate with paranormal things and the past and the future and other universes; like to me that's pretty incredible! [Laughs] Like just thinking about that is amazing! To touch things and know where they've been, that's crazy!

Doctor Strange and Scarlet Witch

The remaining WandaVision episodes will supposedly lead up to the events of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, which is set to star Olsen as Scarlet Witch. While researching the role prior to her MCU debut, Olsen may have been well aware that Wanda would play a bigger role in the franchise's introduction to the Multiverse all along. Mentioning the character's ability to communicate with the paranormal and beings from the past and future was significant enough. Granted, Olsen's tease to the "other universes" was even more attention-grabbing, playing into the notion that the Multiverse was always on her radar since she took on the role.

While some viewers predict Doctor Strange will appear in WandaVision, his involvement might not be what opens the Multiverse. If Scarlet Witch truly is the key to incorporating the Multiverse in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, her presence in Phase 4 will likely be more significant than initially believed. If that's the case, it's fitting that WandaVision served as the launch into the new phase for the franchise. Wanda's introduction into the MCU could have been serving as the bridge to the Multiverse all along.
