Sandra did redeem herself a little when she tried her hardest to find Maddie. However, that barely makes up for the way she acted before Maddie went missing. Seeing that Maddie is still alive, Sandra should focus on getting better before Maddie returns home.

In School Spirits season 1, Simon was able to see Maddie when he was in places in the school where a person had died. Maddie's disappearance was not taken seriously by the authorities in charge of her case. The police initially thought Maddie ran away until the evidence of her death started piling up. Now that it has been revealed that there might be a connection between Janet and Maddie, the police could look into how Janet and Mr. Martin died. However, that can only happen if Simon and Maddie begin to communicate again, and if Simon reveals to the police everything he has uncovered about Maddie. Additionally, Nicole could let the authorities know that she saw Maddie alive.

Of all the spirits at Split River High, Wally seemed to be the most comfortable with the fact that he was dead. Wally and Maddie struck up a friendship that later turned into a romance. Maddie will no doubt want to repossess her body and go back to her life, so she needs to explain to Wally that they can't be together because they belong in different worlds. There is also the question of why she chose Maddie's body. The spirits in the school had access to all the students at Split River High, so why was Maddie's body the one that Janet chose to possess?

The remaining of the spirit club have been stuck in limbo for several years, and so they deserve to live a life outside Split River High.
