Even if it's set years in the future, Scorpion could return to this plotline for season 5. Perhaps Centipede and Scorpion 2.0 spent years fighting over clients, occasionally having to share case details.

Season 5 of Scorpion could show the teams at their most bitter, neither one talking to the other, but then some major threat forces them to come together. There could be a lot of exciting plotlines that result from old enemies being reminded of why they used to be friends which would add a lot of depth to the show.
